TASTE | MY MOTHER'S COOKING

My all time favorite restaurant is Morandi in the West Village ( 211 Waverly Place, New York City, +1 212 627 7575). I have been going there for 8+ years. The pici al limone (hand rolled spaghetti with lemon and parmesan) is something I crave on a weekly basis. The focaccia with arugula and stracchino cheese is also delicious. I love to sit at the bar for a meal and a glass of wine, solo or with a friend.

The cookbook that I hold dear to my heart is one my mom made for me. It contains all of her Nonni’s recipes. My Nonni was an amazing traditional Italian cook and I try to replicate her recipes when I can. Her pasta bolognese is the most loved in our family and it’s delicious! I wish I could share it with you, but I've been sworn to secrecy.
