MEET | ELIZABETH ENTIN
Featured 6.26-7.2.17 | If every dress tells a story, then Elizabeth Entin's website, Runway Passport, is a very long novel. After spending years as a fashion assistant at Harper's Bazaar and Vogue, she realized that what drew her to the field was the personal connection not only between designer and customer, but even more importantly, between designer and design. She wanted to create a platform where people could seek out these stories, granting access to designers that weren't easily accessible on the more mainstream sites, and so, this bi-coastal animal loving fashion maven did just that, allowing couch surfers around the globe to shop designers from Addis Ababa to Athens and beyond.. Welcome to Elizabeth's week.

Elizabeth Entin is the Founder & CEO of Runway Passport. Runway Passport a site where you can shop and discover emerging and indie fashion designers from around the world. Liz fell in love with the world of fashion while growing up in New York. She began her career by interning first in fashion PR then moving to the magazine world — first at Harper’s Bazaar in New York and then Vogue in London. From there she grew to assist fashion stylists on a variety of shoots ranging from Vogue (UK and Italian), Glamour, Marie Claire, and many commercials. She also began styling on her own for smaller and more creative magazines such as Zink and Oyster. She realized that her passion was the personal story and vision of each unique designer and wanted to create a platform where people were buying from real people they couldn’t easily get from anywhere else. “There is nothing like discovering that unique piece that you are so excited about from that new designer whose work just speaks to you. Where someone is located shouldn’t matter and how easily they popup on google shouldn’t matter. Everyone should have full their full choices from designers that are out there - not just the well known ones you can easily find on google or in the stores. That is what sums up Runway Passport for me.” Liz currently is living between NYC and LA and traveling when she gets the chance.
