TASTE | THE WOMAN BEHIND THE MAN

I could go without food for days and just sleep.  When I was a teenager, my mom would literally wake me to eat and let me go back to sleep. But as much as I love to sleep, my husband loves food. He gets such immense joy when he is eating and sharing food with people. He could speak about food for hours. 
When I met him he told me he was starting a pop up restaurant, I thought he was joking. Weeks later he had the most successful pop up restaurant in NYC. He went on to open the restaurants Co-Op and Victor and Spoils, and then went to Morgans Hotel Group where as CMO he redid all of their restaurant concepts (Isola in the Mondrian Hotel NY, Hudson Common in The Hudson Hotel, The Sea Container and Dandelyan in The Mondrian London) and do amazing partnerships and pop ups with VICE Munchies. He also wrote The Complete Idiot's Guide to Starting a Food Truck Business. He did all of this in the span of three years.  His love for food has taken him on a journey he could never have imagined.  I have no come to appreciate the delicious food he has shared with me, and I can't wait for our two sons to grow up tasting all of the goodies their father shares with them.  
As far as our favorite restaurants, we love Cafe Mogador in Brooklyn (133 Wythe Avenue) and in Miami our spot is Pubbelly Sushi (1424 20th St, Miami Beach).
