This Little Goat is one of my newest projects. After so many guests at Girl & the Goat asked how we make our signature green bean dish, we decided to put the sauce in the bottle so people could make it at home. We’ve expanded the line from there and all of the products are inspired by different global flavors found on the menus in the restaurants. We wanted to give people a fun and easy way to experiment with these flavors in their home kitchens. We also have hundreds of recipes online for anyone looking for some extra inspiration. One of my current favorites is our Shaved Summer Squash Salad. It’s a really easy and refreshing recipe to make during the summer.

My husband and I received a rice cooker for our wedding and have been using it multiple times a week ever since! I love making rice the day before to let it dry out a bit and then use it to make a super simple fried rice. It’s a healthy meal that is quick and easy to make which is exactly what I need at night after getting home from work at the restaurants.
The Kuhn vegetable peeler is one of my favorite kitchen tools! The angle makes peeling so much easier compared to the one I used in my mom’s kitchen growing up. Plus, you can use it for firm cheese when you’re just looking for a tasty snack of cheese and crackers ;)
French mandolins can be so bulky! This Asian style is so much easier to use, but be careful they are super sharp.
Our Kalamazoo wood grill was the first thing we put in our house when we moved in! We love the hybrid gas and wood burning feature. Outdoor kitchens are so great and perfect for entertaining. This grill is so powerful that we are able to grill even when it’s the middle of winter in Chicago.
The Gjelina cookbook is one of my new favorites — I love the simple and fresh recipes in this book. I was in Venice this past January, and I stopped by their bakery Gjusta. I had such a great experience, I picked up the book before I was finished with my meal.
Monteverde in Chicago 1020 West Madison Street) is owned by a good friend and is located just around the corner from my own restaurants. My husband and I love to swing through after work to enjoy some of the best pasta in the city!
Sartori Montamore cheese. I LOVE THIS CHEESE. I put it in salads, over pasta, or eat it on its own as a snack. Its just the perfect amount of saltiness!
