I'm not a huge fan of juicing, but some of the smoothie recipes here make you forget you're cleansing.

If you haven't eaten at Sqirl in Los Angeles, get on a plane right this second. Or buy this book and make everything in it.

GJELINA: COOKING FROM VENICE, CALIFORNIA by Travis Lett
Everyone who has selected anything from LA on the site ALWAYS mentions Gjelina, and with good reason. The restaurant is epic and these recipes are perfection!

MALIBU FARM COOKBOOK: RECIPES FROM THE CALIFORNIA COAST by Helene Henderson + Martin Lof
Are you sensing a theme here? Seriously, though, Malibu Farm is my favorite place on earth. I may or may not have flown to LA for lunch there.  Thankfully since getting this cookbook, I don't have to do that anymore.

PALEO PERFECTED:  A REVOLUTION IN EATING WELL by America's Test Kitchen
150 easy recipes that are healthy and super easy. And paleo! 

FOOD52 COOKBOOKS
I am OBSESSED with the Food52 website. And while I can get most of these recipes there, these books are so beautiful that I just can't resist keeping them on the shelf.
