W+B | EASY, BREEZY BEAUTIFUL

I've been spending a lot of time lately trying to pare down my makeup drawer so that I have fewer products, less clutter and more glow. And let me tell you something: It's not easy. I have a really hard time parting with anything, and an even harder time picking favorites, but I did it. And here's where I landed: with just a few things that take about 40 seconds to apply, I can look polished, dewy and put together. Here are my current picks.

FACE TINTS

Milk Makeup Sunshine Skin Tint
I did an Insta Story poll awhile back asking people if they prefer tinted moisturizer or foundation. The votes were in heavy favor the tint, so I made it my business to find a couple to love. This one, from Milk Makeup, is amazing. It's super hydrating, has a great SPF of 30, and I love the roller ball applicator — it's perfect for on-the-go application and for travel. It also makes it almost impossible to over apply and there's virtually no waste.

Your Skin But Better™ CC+™ Cream with SPF 50+
I have yet to truly grasp the difference between a BB Cream and a CC Cream, but whatever, because this one is truly a miracle. I first became obsessed with It Cosmetics when I got sucked into their late night infomercials, and then became a total sucker when they debuted their line at Sephora. Amongst my fave products is this CC cream,  which actually covers imperfections (for me it's brown spots, oh happy day) without any creasing at all. It's also infused with an anti-aging serum and has a broad spectrum SPF 50+. Winning!

HIGHLIGHTERS

Milk Makeup Glitter Glaze Quad
I'm not a huge fan of highlighter to be honest, mostly because I don't have a freakin' clue what to do with it, but this four-shade glossy glaze glides onto the skin and creates a luminous, dewy finish. I used the peachy shade on my cheeks and then added a little of the white shade to the corner of my eyes which (I think) gave me that wide-awake look we're all striving for these days. You can also use any of the colors on your lips. And while I'm not exactly sure I used this quad to highlight in the traditional sense, I did find that using them created a much more natural look than a powder would. And p.s: this quad makes a great holiday gift as well.

ColourPop Super Shock Highlighter
More highlighters. These are long lasting, smooth, crème powders that go on creamy and are more pearl, less glitter. Great for using as an eyeshadow with some edge, too.

CHEEKS

Glossier Cloud Paint Blush
I'm legit obsessed with this cream blush. The colors are amazing and a little goes a long way. And bonus: there's collagen in the formula to make you look glow-y even after you wash your face. Application tip: squeeze a teeny bit out and tap the open tube onto the apples of your cheeks and then blend with your fingers or a foundation brush. It's buildable and I advise going slow.

EYES

Milk Makeup Eye Vinyl
So this must be how models always have that glossy eyelid look. I've always envied it, but never understood it and was kind of afraid of it, but this is brilliant. And no, it's not sticky. Try it in Bridge for a super natural look.

L’oreal Mascaras
For all of you who use fancy, super expensive mascaras, please stop wasting your money. Honestly. There are a million great drugstore brands out there, but I happen to love L'Oréal. My current obsessions are the Telescopic Mascara in Carbon Black (carbon black because it has 2X more intense pigments than regular black - whoa!), the Voluminous Lash Paradise Washable Mascara in blackest black and the Voluminous False Fiber Lashes in blackest black for intense added volume. Please try one (or all) of them and let m know what you think!

LIPS

Glossier’s Balm Dotcom
You may have noticed that I love Glossier, and the OG product I started with was their Balm Dotcom, which back then was just an awesome clear lip balm. Since then, colors and flavors have been added and the one I love the most is Cherry, which has a sheer, red tint that makes me feel like I look just like Liv Tyler in Stealing Beauty.
