A friend of mine was recently at the dermatologist who told him his entire head is precancerous (yes, he's bald), and he had to spend two weeks using an agonizing chemotherapy cream to literally burn the cancer cells. But the thing that killed me about this, is that he was shocked to learn that he's supposed to be using sunscreen ALL YEAR LONG. And as shocked as he was by this revelation, I was even more confounded by the fact that he didn't already know this. I mean, I sort of assumed that in this day and age, everyone was just slathering themselves all the time, because, you know, global warming. Anyway, turns out that NOT everyone knows how important sunscreen is all year round, so I'm here to help because I literally won't even sit in front of a computer without SPF 30, and I've tried pretty much everything out there when it comes to daily SPF. Here are my faves.

SUNTEGRITY "5 IN 1" NATURAL MOISTURIZING FACE SUNSCREEN, BROAD SPECTRUM SPF 30
Every time I wear this sunscreen-primer-moisturizer- treatment-foundation, people comment on how good my skin looks. It goes on thick, but dont be scared because it blends in really well in a minute. It also has 20% Non-Nano Size Zinc Oxide which is great for anyone who suffers from melasma.
SUPERGOOP ACAIFUSION LIP BALM
People are always forgetting about their lips, and they really shouldn't because lips are skin, too. Or something like that. Anyway, the slip balm is super moisturizing and good for men and women.
REVISION INTELLISHADE ORIGINAL SPF 45
This is my latest obsession. It has a universal tint which seems to actually be universal, has an SPF of 45, minimizes the appearance of pores and is super hydrating. It also doesn't pill, which is my number one peeve when it comes to sunscreen.
SUPERGOOP FOREVER YOUNG BODY BUTTER SPF 40
This is a great every day body moisturizer. Pay special attention to your neck and chest in the winter because sunspots can happen even when it's cold.
FOREVER YOUNG HAND CREAM SPF 40 WITH SEA BUCKTHORN
You know when you see people whose faces look young but their hands look like they're 100? Don't be one of those people.
SUPERGOOP CITY SUNSCREEN SERUM SPF 30
I love this serum because it has a ton of skincare benefits (antioxidant protection, hydroviton 24), is silky and totally invisible. Make a great primer before makeup and is perfect for guys, too.
BIENFAIT UV SPF 50+ SUPER FLUID FACIAL SUNSCREEN
Super lightweight and it smells really good, too.
SUPERGOOP DEFENSE REFRESH SETTING MIST SPF 50
I'm a fan of makeup setting spray, and this one is insanely good because not only does it keep everything from sliding off your face by 5pm, it adds an SPF to whatever else you're wearing.
LAURA MERCIER TINTED MOISTURIZER
This is the OG of tinted moisturizers, and with good reason. It goes on like buttah and leaves a nice glow behind.
NARS PURE RADIANT TINTED MOISTURIZER
The name doesn't lie. You'll be radiant when you wear this one, I promise.
ELTAMD UV CLEAR BROAD-SPECTRUM SPF 46 TINTED + UNTINTED
I wear the tinted version but the untinted isn't white or chalky at all (good for guys alert!). This is a great option for anyone with sensitive or acne prone skin because it won't clog pores or cause sensitivity. It's an SPF 46 with niacinamide and hyaluronic acid which both promote healthy-looking skin.
SUPERGOOP SHINE ON LIP SCREEN SPF 50
nother one of lips, but this one is a gloss and it's everything.
NEUTROGENA ULTRA SHEER DRY-TOUCH SUNSCREEN BROAD SPECTRUM SPF 55
The best of the drugstore brand sunscreens, it has Helioplex which provides broad-spectrum protection against UVA and burning UVB rays and it has a lightweight, clean feel.
KIEHL'S BB CREAM - ACTIVELY CORRECTING AND BEAUTIFYING WITH SPF 50
A good option for a BB cream that gives just the right amount of tinted coverage with a high SPF.
JOUER COSMETICS MATTE MOISTURE TINT SPF 15 + JOUER COSMETICS LUMINIZING MOISTURE TINT SPF 20
I've used the luminizing version and the finish it leaves behind is really beautiful. It's also oil free which I love. I assume the matte version is equally as great, too.
