I think a home should always be a reflection of who you are, not following the trend of the moment, but rather filling it with things you love. People always describe our home as welcoming and lived-in and think the pieces we have brought back from our trips to Greece, Turkey, Morocco and Latin America really help create that vibe. I have also embraced color since I moved to Miami — the tropical landscape and 1940’s architecture of our home has inspired the way I decorate. I think it’s important to honor your surroundings when decorating.
My living room is the center of my home, with a beautiful picture window and filled with my most beloved pieces. The window faces our backyard and it really feels like a tropical oasis. I feel like I am on vacation in my own home. We always gather in the living room - this is the place we have our daily dance parties with our three-year-old son and it's where I curl up with a mag, light a candle and listen to old records.

And these are the things I can’t live without:
Crosley record player
Diptyque’s Baies scented candle
Design and Art books
Vintage lamps and lighting
My collection of Midcentury West German pottery
Santimetre porcelain tableware and platters
The Commons glassware
Vintage collection of coupes, stemware and barware
All white serving trays in different sizes
And hand loomed Turkish towels are a staple in my home. They are so beautiful and chic and we use them in our kitchen, bath and by the pool
