In 2008 I bought a colonial house which is more than 400 years old and which I restored and decorated. I loved doing it — It was a challenge, which I am dying to repeat. I wanted to create something that remained true to the house and to the town I live in, but that also reflected my rather minimal taste in decor and colors. It was a success and it turned out that lots of people who visit Valladolid love it and it's been photographed quite a bit. It's been featured in Lonny magazine, Elle Decor India and Elle Decor Italy. I am really proud of it!

Featured 5.15-5.21.17 | If you've spent any time with me or with my social media, you probably know that Tulum is my idea of the most perfect place on the planet. Turns out I'm not the only one who finds great peace in this area of the Yucatan, so I'd like to introduce you to German-born handbag designer Ariane Dutzi, who moved to this part of the world after studying French literature at the Sorbonne and getting a crash course in fashion design in NYC. She's traveled the world, has an incredible eye for detail and has taken great care to give back to the country she now calls home.
Welcome to Ariane's week.
