MEET | COLLEEN CRIVELLO
Featured 3.25-3.31.19 | There are some people who just radiate good vibes. Colleen Crivello is one such human, and all it takes is a moment in her presence to feel the warmth she emits. It might have something to do with the fact that she’s a SoCal native or that her job as a Creative Consultant and Digital Content Creator has her constantly building people up with her business-savvy-meets-down-to-earth realness, but whatever it is, spending time with her is like being on the best vacation ever. So what does human sunshine do for fun? Well, for starters, her resume is stacked. She’s worked for everyone from Ralph Lauren to Jeremy Scott to Victoria’s Secret, and that was all before she went on to create her own Styles Section-worthy kids clothing line, CHALK, as well as co-founding MINIMODE, a lifestyle site for chic moms (because, btw, she is one — her daughter, Alba is a serious mini-me). And while she’s left those businesses behind to focus on helping other brands get their messaging across (that’s what light and energy do, obviously), don’t think for one second that she doesn’t have more up her Love Shack Fancy sleeve. We’re keeping our eyes (and hearts) on this one, and we think you should, too. Welcome to Colleen’s week.
more about colleen
Colleen Crivello is a Creative Consultant & Digital Content Creator specializing in storytelling, forging relationships and connecting the dots between interesting people and relevant brands. Consumers are increasingly looking for brands they relate to through communities they want to be part of, thought-provoking stories and discerning tastemakers that share similar values and ethos.
Born and raised in Los Angeles before moving to New York, Colleen Crivello, started her career at Jeremy Scott — after moving back to LA from Berlin and finishing studies at ArtCenter College Of Design. Having worked across several disciplines from fashion design to content, with brands such as Under Armour, Victoria’s Secret, and Ralph Lauren, plus founded a line of kids clothing, CHALK (sold at Barneys, SAKS, Fred Segal and celebrated in the NY Times Style Section) and co-founded MINIMODE, a lifestyle site for moms, she has seen the industry evolve. Specializing in editorial content, brand storytelling, and creative marketing, between LA and NYC, she brings connection, vision, versatility, and a discerning sensibility to all of her work.
Today, as a creative consultant & digital content creator, she believes that a successful brand cannot rely on a single campaign per season, but rather be constantly engaging consumers through an authentic story and secondary messaging across multiple channels: video, multimedia, and social media, among many others. Traditional marketing has evolved to quality engagement through compelling content that works to create a relationship with the consumer.
Now working independently, Colleen continues to inject her expertise and signature voice into all of her work, servicing clients in the fashion & wellness space. Colleen also supports the charity, This Is About Humanity, and is mom to Alba.
