When it comes to wellness I consider the mental health aspect and spiritual side equally as important as a strong fitness routine. I love going to MINKA Brooklyn (1120 Washington Avenue, 3rd Floor; +1 917 635 3666) for Reiki (AKA energy healing). I actually got certified to practice Reiki last weekend, and consider it a part of my lifelong self care routine. Aki Baker is my go-to and she also practices flower essence healing. Essential oils are also wonderful. I mix baking soda, sea salt and eucalyptus oil for a hot bath to de-stress. It releases toxins out of the body and clears your energy.
For my workouts I love doing strength training and 30 minutes on the elliptical. Once in a while I'll sign up for a yoga class or Barre class at Pure Barre (FYI Abby Horrell is the best!).
I'm turning 30 in February so I have been paying a little more attention to my skincare routine. SiO Beauty patches are great for fine lines. You can reuse them over and over again and are super easy to apply. I'm also a fan of Angela Caglia rose quartz roller. It’s so soothing on the skin and great routine for the morning before applying makeup. When it comes to face masks, my favorite brand is Borghese and my go-to is infused with white honey extract and Vitamin E Acetate . I do this once every few weeks. My daily routine involves emerginC Vitamin C Serum — I use this daily right before bedtime.
For makeup, I love Lash Star Beauty for eyeshadow. Their Modern Nudes palette is my go-to. You can layer them for a dramatic night out or keep is simple with a subtle sweep. The silver is my favorite glam color! For lips I love LAQA & Co. Their Avo Lip Butter in Olive Rose is the perfect neutral and feels better than lip balm. I never run errands or leave the house without mascara. I love Il Makiage Icon mascara in black — it never clumps and the brush is perfect for bottom and top lashes.

My makeup routine starts with Winky Lux's whipped cream primer first. It really makes your pores look non-existent and is super lightweight. For blush I put just a bit of Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush. I got it as one of these free gifts in mini size — you know when you have so many points — and ended up buying the full size version. Oh and the shade is Paaarty.
I fill my brows with Anastasia Beverly Hill's Brow Wiz pencil in taupe then Benefit's brow gel. Before I add lip color I use FRESH Sugar lip polish exfoliator. It leaves my lips super soft and strips away any dry skin. Words cannot explain what a lifesaver this is for the winter months.
I use FRESH Rose Floral Toner to set my makeup. During the summer/spring time I use it ALL of the time to cool off as a refreshing mist. It makes my skin so dewy and fresh looking no matter how many hours of sleep I got the night before.
For nails I love Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Nail Polish in the color Ping Pong. I get so many compliments on this shade. It is not too pink and not too neutral and you can go weeks without noticing the chipping!
Last year I decided to switch to a natural toothpaste and deodorant. So far so good! I picked Earthpaste natural toothpaste and Native deodorant in lavender rose. My friend Julia from Om and the City really got me into it and I've been hooked ever since.
My favorite hair products are by Bumble and Bumble. Their dry shampoo has saved me more times than I would like to admit. For shampoo and conditioner, Phyto's Intense Hydration shampoo + conditioner work like a charm. It has none of those harmful chemicals and cruelty-free which I always look for.
