I am really into eating organic and healthy foods. I used to make or buy a juice daily, but lately I've gotten into making smoothies because all of the fibers and nutrients remain intact. One of my favorite recipes is one that doesn't necessarily taste the best, but it really makes me feel great. It's a Sprout Smoothie, and it's pretty easy to make.
1 cup of water
1 spoonful of tumeric
a handful of sprouts and/or microgreens (I used pea, broccoli and kale today, but any sprouts or micro greens work)
2 - 4 dandelion leaves, and since these tend to be bitter, throw in some fruit, too — whatever you like.
Blend in a blender, adding more water if it's too thick.
