The world is big and life is a work in progress. And these are just my 7 cents.
Before I say anything, you need to know that while it may seem so, this is NOT an ad for Topshop.
Just click your heels together three times and think to yourself, "There's no place like home." And if you're lucky, you'll wake up in your own bed, wearing a pair of these sparkly babies.
I just did a major closet purge, so it was time to fill in a little bit (just a little). Here, some of my new favorite things.
We are well on our way to the last official day of summer and the unofficial start of fall. And while temperatures are sure to stay above 80 for the next few weeks, this is the time of the year when we start to dream about jeans, sweaters, boots and jackets. So with that in mind, I compiled a few of my favorite things for fall. At least for now. Enjoy!
Also, they are really good for going into hiding if things don't go our way in November.
You know what all of this fashion talk makes me want to do? Wear sweats. And #netflixandchill.
It's Fall! At least, it's September and we're all officially back at our desks. But there's good news: booties. And that means every outfit you have will look exponentially cuter.
You can pretend all you want that you don't love the Biebs, but you do. Because deep down, we're all Beliebers.
I know, I know. There are now 1,000,000 off the shoulder top and dress options out there.
This weekend marks the true birth of America. It also gives us license to eat as many burgers and hot dogs as we can handle. Thankfully there is plenty of red, white and blue clothing that will hide your BBQ bulge.
We are just one day away from the unofficial start of summer. What is official, though, is that bikini season has arrived, ready or not. To the rescue are these, our current favorite cover ups. All are cute enough to take you from beach to beach bar while keeping you covered. Just enough.
Father's Day is coming. And you need to give him a gift. Or else you might not get one for Mother's Day next year. Here's our guide to some great gifts, and please take note there's not a single tie or pair of socks in the mix. You're welcome.
As you may know, I have a crazy obsession with Topshop (particularly their Jamie Jeans, which I consider to be magic). But truthfully, the stores often overwhelm me: so many styles, so much inventory, so many people. Enter Topshop Personal Shopping Service, a complimentary (yes, it's FREE!) service available at select stores in New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and the UK (10 stores there to be specific).
Here's the thing: during world war I, most airplanes didn't have enclosed cockpits, so pilots had to wear something that would keep them sufficiently warm. The U.S. Army officially established the aviation clothing board in September 1917 and began distributing heavy-duty leather flight jackets with high wraparound collars, zipper closures with wind flaps, snug cuffs and waists, some were even fringed and lined with fur. And thus, the bomber jacket was born.
I love sweatpants. Really, really love them. I actually kind of think it’s unfair that we ever have to wear real pants.
I have known Jennifer Fisher, the designer of her eponymous jewelry line, Jennifer Fisher Jewelry, for many, many years. When we first met, she was just starting out and I was in awe of her talent and her drive.
There is no greater benefit to warmer temps than the opportunity to break out a leather jacket. The perfect top layer over a sweater and jeans it can add just enough polish with a good dose of edge.
Please don't be fooled by the date. It might be March 24, but there is still crazy winter weather all across our country. It's never too late to get a good coat.
I resisted Topshop for a long time. There was something about it that seemed so overwhelming to me, but my 12 year old daughter was persistent, and so one Saturday morning, we ventured into the Soho location early enough so that we were the only ones in the store. And here's what I found: MAGIC JEANS.
My latest obsession is vintage designer bags. Enter Love that Bag, a canadian-based company offering a highly curated collection of designer bags. All are gently used and are in near perfect condition, which just means they are nicely broken in for you.
