Over the summer I spent time in Capri, one of my favorite travel destinations. A friend of mine had organized a summer party there, and we spent the weekend eating, relaxing and truly celebrating life. The best way to experience Capri is by boat - you can explore the entire island from the sea, while taking breaks for beautiful swims and gorgeous views. The Blue Grotto is not to be missed!
If you have the chance to go to Capri, you must visit the Villa Jovis, it’s definitely worth the walk. Perched on the top of Mount Tiberio, at more than 1,200 feet above sea level, you’ll find the ruins of Capri's largest and most lavish Roman villa.
The actual party was held at Lo Scoglio In Nerano - a small coastal town that's a quick boat ride from the Capri port. Our dinner table was filled with the most incredible mozzarella and tomatoes, alongside "Spaghetti alla Nerano", a traditional dish with pasta and zucchini. And of course, no party would be complete without drinking some Limoncello to top it off.
NOTE: We wrote about The Amalfi Coast and our love for Lo Scoglio. head about it here.
