MEET | JOEY WÖLFFER

Featured 4.29-5.5.19 | Summer is, thankfully, right around the corner, and with its onset come the endless, lazy days that usually (hopefully) end with a cold glass of rosé on a beach, at a sidewalk café, on your couch — wherever you might be lucky enough to find yourself. And if you’re really extra lucky, the rosé you’ll be sipping will be by Wölffer Estate Vineyard, the location will be somewhere in the Hamptons and your drinking buddy will be Joey Wölffer, the multi-talented daughter of Christian Wölffer (the vineyard’s founder who died tragically in 2008), who has not only taken over the family biz (with her brother, Marc), but has also managed to carry on her father’s name while simultaneously defining her own. In addition to her roles at the helm of the winery and its stables (yup, she’s a horse lover and still rides competitively), she’s taken it a few steps further with the opening of her wildly popular spin-off restaurants, Wölffer Kitchen (with two locations in Sag Harbor and Amagansett) and her low-key glam clothing shop, Joey Wolffer (also two locations in Sag harbor and Palm Beach, FL), where she offers the fashion and accessories she’s curated from her extensive world travels and her brilliant sourcing of limited-edition pieces (fun fact: before she went brick and mortar, she sold her wares out of a tricked out truck, aptly called The Styleliner, which you can find all summer long at the Wölffer Estate Wine Stand in Sagaponack). Like her aesthetic, Joey is the perfect mix of high powered boss babe and laid back, slightly disorganized (but in a super cute and endearing way), totally vibrant human. She has a love of country music, pigs and perfectly made beds, and she spends her free time changing the world through her work with a handful of organizations focused on helping women and children. Needless to say, we are drunk in love with this bohemian babe. Welcome to Joey’s week.
