We are 15 days out from moving in to our brand new house. We were blessed with the opportunity to build our house from the ground up, and it has been an incredible one-year process. I am most excited about the kitchen and living room, as we love to entertain!

Luckily, my husband and I share similar tastes, blending Japanese and Scandinavian design together to create a comfortable, yet modern and minimal aesthetic. A few of the pieces I am most excited about for our house are:

The Daikon Stilk Chandelier: These lights are striking, modern and adaptable, and the designer, Austin, is a real gem of a human. This light will go over the dining table we bought in Iceland!

Highline Archier Brass Light – We fell in love with this light for it’s minimal, yet powerful aesthetic. Coming all the way from Australia, this beauty will hang above our kitchen island.

Carl Hansen CH 20 - Hans J. Wegner Elbow Chair – These were a splurge for us, but we just loved them and the contrast they will provide to our mostly grey, black and white décor.

Lite+Cycle Candles – I love burning these candles in my home because they are 100% organic with zero toxins, and they are beautiful! I think so many people are unaware of the toxic chemicals that some candles have in them. I love the commitment Lite+Cycle has to being completely transparent with all the ingredients and providing customers with such a pure product. The Bergamot scent is my favorite.

I also am really excited about our custom coffee table that we are making out of black and white soap stone!
