Featured 4.18-4.14.19 | “Life, but make it fashion” could very well be Laure Heriard Dubreuil’s official tagline. Why? Because this French-born fashion powerhouse is not only the Founder of beloved luxury concept shop, The Webster, which opened in South Beach in 2009 and has grown to include six (!) additional boutiques across the United States (including NYC, Texas and Calfornia), she’s also the Creative Director of her own namesake womenswear label, LHD. And just as you’d imagine, her job is as undeniably glamorous as it sounds with a gig that includes discovering and stocking pieces from the world’s most sought-after designers (oh, hey Chanel, Celine, Stella McCartney, Dries van Noten … ) as well as collaborating with fashion superstars like Aurelie Bidermann and Pierre Hardy (NBD). But of course running a fashion empire isn’t all sequins and stilettos — it also involves plenty of blood, sweat, tears, hustle and heart, which LHD happens to have in spades. Take her work with mothers2mothers, a non-profit helping Sub-Saharan Africa fight Aids, for example. Or the fact that she casually speaks Mandarin. Or that she's a mom (of a 5-year-old boy!). Or that she’s a formally trained nose (yes, a nose. Translation: She can whip up a signature scent that will transport you — kind of like the one she recently did for The Webster). If we had to reduce her to one word, we’d say that she’s is unstoppable. Welcome to Laure’s week.
