I use Jane Iredale Pressed Powder as a sunblock and it saved my life. I break out if I look sideways at a new foundation or traditional liquid sunblocks, but I finally found this one 15+ years ago, and I’ve never strayed. I use the pressed powder because the particle size is large enough (too small is almost worse than chemical blocks), with RMS Beauty’s color products over the powder, then I seal it in with Jane Iredale D20 Hydration Spray. This keeps you looking like you’re wearing a liquid foundation instead of an aging powder.

Chantecaille Gel Foundation (in Alabaster for me). I like to use this at night, applied with my black Beauty Blender. It doesn’t break me out, but there is no sun protection, so I wear this if I’m going to dinner as the sun is setting and there will be little to no sun on my face.

RMS Living Luminizer has the be the best pixie dust to ever land on my face. I truly glow when it’s on (which is every day).

RMS Lip to Cheek Color (I love the pink color). I like that I can spread it myself and I can start slow and build the color.

Koh-Gen-Do Long Lush Treatment Mascara is my new find! It hits every lash, and the shape of the brush is really good. Coats them nicely. Doesn’t clump. and for the most part it stays put.

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler — what else can I say...

NYX Eyebrow Shaper is a wax pencil that helps you to create the feathered brow that Kristie Streicher is always working to create.

Beauty Blender in black. Make sure you clean it every day. If you don’t have their cleanser, grab a plain glycerin soap, which you can find in any laundry aisle. Scrub it against the bar and run it under water and the makeup comes out, but clean it regularly!

Biologique Recherche P50 1970, original formula. I get my gauze damp, drop a few drops onto them and press into my face (avoid eye area), press hardest and longest where you have pigment issues or enlarged pores. As a little trick I always make sure there is a good amount on my cheekbones. Remember the feeling those glow worm toys gave us or your children? need I elaborate?

ZIIP. I am the founder of this company so full disclosure, but I promise you, it’s amazing. It does the work and delivers. People are addicted. This is a way to bypass all the confusing marketing out there about better absorption, cellular turn over, more collagen, get a facelift without the facelift, and on and on and on about different products and how they can do all of these magical things for you, no problem. ZIIP actually is making a change at the cellular level. Flat out. Making a SOLID change. Be your own judge about whether ZIIP works for you or not, if you don’t love it, let us know and we will take it back.

Egyptian Magic is awesome for eczema, I put a tiny bit on my eyelids at night to keep the crepey away, a hilarious friend of mine called it Egyptian Vagic … no explanation necessary, I hope. It’s been around for decades, has a cult following and is really, really clean. This is why I like EM for any application where it’s going into the body (get your minds out of the gutter and back onto your comfortable reading chair), think burns, cracked lip corners, healing cuts — you get my drift.

Serum C. Again full disclosure, I created this product which is called Serum C by Melanie Simon Skincare. It is a lipid soluble 15% Vitamin C with only 4 other ingredients. I started out using this only when I was microneedling my clients because you want something potent, effective, and with very few ingredients. I actually used to just order kilos of things like plant based stem cells and bioidentical collagen, but my particular form of Vitamin C outperformed all of the others. Hands down. Every time. My clients started asking if they could purchase it to use with their dermaroller at home. I was kind of like, well, it’s $200 an ounce, are you sure you want to do that? But then they started asking me if they could use it in their skincare routines and the rest is history. I bottled it and applied wax seals in different colors, depending on the season. It became my top selling product within 6 months. Now, you have to use Serum C the right way if you want it to sing for you the way it does for me. It is a treatment serum. I say 4 times a week is a good amount. Also the only thing that weakens it is water so you have to apply it to a dry face, now this can mean your other products have already soaked in and your face is dry to the touch, or you’ve just washed your face and patted it dry. Once you’ve applied it, you have to let is set up on your skin for about 10 minutes before you put on any other products. There are thorough directions in the box. Read them. Please.

Biologique Recherche Crème Dermopurifiante. Biologique has 200+ products. This cream is the closest to a universal product that they have. I love the way it makes the skin look. And ringing in at under $100 it is one of the more attainable BR products and still my favorite cream.

WellBox at-home endermologie device. I use this not for my body, but for my face for lymphatic drainage. Also I’m gearing up to attack the 4 square inch patch above my belly button that now looks like waves on the ocean. I don’t know how it happened. It wasn’t there after my daughter was born. This is 40. I’ll let you know how it goes.

I have to add in Light Stim (I use the Amber light). I also get the full face healing treatments from Dr. Michael Galitzer (the most talented Dr. I know, who is a naturopathic physician with an expertise in bioidentical hormone replacement). The at-home unit is great because you can put it directly on your face to help with a toothache, swollen lymphnodes or cold sores.

Perfect hair: Oribe Texturizing spray (amazing). The best finishing hairspray I know of. Every hairstylist I’ve come across uses it in their kits.

Shampoo: pink Oribe scalp treatment with salicylic acid in it to clean my scalp once every two weeks since I don’t wash my hair that often. If you don’t have a clean scalp new hairs cannot push through, which leads to thinning hair.

Shampoo & Conditioner: I switch between David Mallet Hydration Shampoo, conditioner and serum and Gloss Moderne mask, shampoo, conditioner and hair gloss.

I air dry most of the time, unless I can pay someone to tame the beast. Once air dried, I use a medium sized curling rod then I put David Mallet Voluminizing Powder into the root and then run my fingers through it and use a tiny bit of Egyptian Magic to deal with crazy flyaways.

If I have any grey roots that I haven’t gotten to, I use the Oribe Airbrush root touch up spray in dark brown. It matches my hair perfectly. By far the best root touch up product I have ever come across. The only downfall is that it runs out after about 4 applications. So when you buy them, buy several at a time.

I also like the 7 (Seven) Seal Spray. Something I’ll use when my hair is wet, only at the ends. It flattens out the cuticle, and keeps my hair from looking fried.

I like to get IV drips, especially ones containing glutathioine (an amino acid), biotin and folic acid. Because amino acids really make your skin glow. I also love Sweat Theory.

Water with lemon first thing in the morning.

E3 Live is the best source of living algae you can get. It comes to you frozen, via Fedex. You defrost it and then take a shot. Algae is so nutrient rich. E3 Live’s reputation speaks for itself.

Moon Juice Almond Moon. I LOVE cow’s milk. This gives me the same satisfaction and the almonds and coconut in it are excellent for your skin.

Calm (Magnesium Only). It keeps you regular, and helps you to relax at the end of the day. If you need something stronger for bathroom help, Oxy Powder will save your life. Maybe literally. Start with 2 tablets and wait 48 hours before taking a larger dose. Make sure you drink lots of water.

Humidifier: Crane Ultrasonic Drop Shape Humidifier. I like mine in all white. Menopausal women love this product because they can aim the mist to land right on them so that their partners don’t have to sleep in Alaska with them while they are dealing with heat flashes. Skin benefits: humid environments are so much better for the skin than dry environments. So create your own humid climate, if you must.

Sleep is the most important thing for health, and skin. For better sleep, you need a completely dark room, this includes clock lights. Or use an eye mask (Morgan Lane x Violet Grey). I also use Mack’s Ear Plugs because they stay in and don’t pop out all night long. I also like a loud fan.

I will not compromise on my pillow. Scandia Down, the least firm, super thin is my favorite.

I also love the Save Your Face pillow— if you’re a stomach or side sleeper, the small sone will train you to sleep on your back. The large Save Your Face pillow... put between your breasts to prevent chest wrinkles for side sleepers.(Note to company: I do wish they made these with responsibly harvested feather fill instead of cotton fill. I’d use mine even more with feathers).
