When I’m working out — or just hanging out — you'll find me in a mix of fave pieces from Lululemon and Outdoor Voices. Gear from these brands take me from hanging on my sofa to workouts with my team. Twice a week, one of our Spring Street Social Society staff members, Tucker Stanton Howe, leads our office on a pumped up strength regimen.
When it comes to beauty and grooming, I have a whole suite of products that I’m obsessed with ... and I just keep adding to my arsenal. Ready for this?
Ursa Major is a Vermont-based unisex brand that uses earthy concoctions in its skincare line. My favorites are the deodorant and the face tonic. For daily face washing, I swap back and forth between Tata Harper’s Regenerating Cleanser and Aesop Parsley Seed Facial Cleanser. I layer True Botanicals Cellular Repair Serum (botanical blend always brings me back to nights in the California deserts), with Facial Moisturizer from Au. Articles, a new NYC brand that brings an Aussie approach to its seasonal lineup of products. And always La Mer Eye Cream. And I don’t leave home without Burt’s Bees Chapstick. Hair is a whole other story. Let’s just say that my grooming regimen always changes. I love everything from Aveda, but if you had to stick me on a well-stocked desert island, I would be sure that I always had Bumble and Bumble’s Sumo Clay and MITCH construction paste.
I’m not one to stick to a single fragrance. I always have a roll-on stick of the 2pm fragrance (vetiver and cypress) from Cinnamon Projects, a NYC brand that produces a small line of incense and fragrance, all of which are incredible. I tend to mix and match, so you’ll always find a hint of 2pm underneath my other favorites: Sudestada from Fuegia (tobacco and grapefruit), Tom Ford’s Oud Mineral (salt, clouds and wood), Jo Malone’s Pomegranate Noir (berries, leather and pepper), and Oddity from Rag & Bone (incense, amber and leather).
