As you can imagine, getting a mammography and being told that there is something suspicious that requires an MRI and biopsy can be nerve wracking. This very thing happened to me twice, and while I'm fortunate that both incidents ended up being false alarms, breast cancer is an ongoing battle to many women. My friend, Stacey Pashcow, who is a survivor,  introduced me to the Dubin Breast Center at The Tisch Cancer Institute which provides a multidisciplinary, comprehensive approach to breast cancer screening, treatment and survivorship. "Representing a bold vision for breast cancer treatment and research, the Dubin Breast Center focuses on the holistic health and well being of individuals with or at risk for cancer. Patients receive highly personalized, multidisciplinary care in a calming, private, and supportive setting."
