Fall is here! That means boots. That means "look like a heel, feels like a flat." I love boots. My two current favorites are the Stuart Weitzman Lowland Boot and the Valentino Block Heel Stretch Suede Ankle Boot.
Nellie Partow is an extremely talented designer (in addition to being a Rouge customer and a friend), and she made a lovely coat this season. I have it in navy with plain pockets. I look forward to cooler temps just to have a reason to wear it.
The Real Real is a terrific website for clothes and jewelry and I have used them both for consignment and for shopping. I am big believer in The Purge. When new things enter the closet, other things must exit. Last ear I moved and basically, restarted my entire wardrobe. The Real Real came to my apartment and carted off bag after bag of clothing. Jewelry too! They make the closet cleanout so easy. Additionally, the Fine Jewelry department is extremely professional. They take all of the fear and guesswork out of selling or buying a nice watch or diamond earrings.
Falke makes the socks of my dreams. Yes. I have a dream sock. It's low enough not to show under booties or sneakers and it has a heel grip to keeps it from sliding off your feet. Bonus round: every sock has either an "R" or an "L" on it so no more wondering who matches who when the lot of them come out of the dryer.
My friend Jen took me to her favorite jewelry store in Paris called MILLER (233, rue Saint Honoré, +33 142 616 313). It's a high-end resale/estate shop where the merchandise is of good quality and the prices are lower than elsewhere. The store is the size of a postage stamp and the pieces are unique and beautifully curated. The first real piece of jewelry I bought for myself is from there, a rose gold, pave diamond ring.

My friend Leslie just started making these wonderful all purpose canvas totes. Straight from the BK. The material is great and the styling is on point. Running errands has never been so stylish.
