AMSTERDAM | WHERE TO STAY

The Canal House
Keizersgracht 148, Amsterdam
+1 020 622 5182
This cozy 23-room hotel was recommended as a fave by one of our Dutch friends. This is the place to stay if you want an authentic Netherlands vibe as the décor has an old world feel with velvet curtains, hardwood floors, and original 17th century beams. Canal House has a great location in the Jordaan neighborhood – you guessed it - alongside a very pretty canal.

Conservatorium
Van Baerlestraat 27, Amsterdam
+1 020 570 0000
A former music conservatory sleekly updated as a luxury hotel with full-service gym, a world-class spa, buzzy bar scene and multiple restaurants. The best museums and high-end stores (Gucci, Prada) are right at your doorstep at this full-service, 5-star hotel.

The Dylan
Keizersgracht 384, Amsterdam

I walked into The Dylan and fell in love. Made up of three adjoining canal houses, this seriously chic boutique hotel has 40 modern rooms, a beautiful courtyard (where you can enjoy drinks on sunny days) and two fabulous restaurants. There are lots of lovely details like homemade cookies on your bed at night, bikes available for guests and a 19th century boat that can be rented for private canal tours and dinners.

The Hoxton
Herengracht 255, Amsterdam
+1 020 888 5555
This hip, buzzy boutique hotel is made up of five canal houses with 111 rooms located on one of the main inner-ring canals. This trendy spot is always packed with guests and locals hanging out in the communal lobby bar and library mezzanine. The Hoxton offers exceptional value and service without sacrificing style.

The Pulitzer
Prinsengracht 315-331, Amsterdam
+1 020 523 5235
The Pulitzer has the vibe of a smaller hotel with the service and amenities of a larger one. This collection of canal houses, with a great location in the Nine Streets area, is cozy and intimate even though it has a whopping 225 rooms and suites. We loved their stunning Art Deco bar that has the feel of a posh, private club and their outdoor garden with alfresco lounging and dining. Another serious perk is the hotel’s private boat that offers daily canal tours.
