The Standard
40 Island Ave., Miami Beach

This is a Miami Beach classic that really stands the test of time. With a great location right on Biscayne Bay, the hotel has one of the best pools around! The view is amazing and the fare at both the restaurant and pool offer something for everyone from raw vegan options to amazing sliders. The spa here is also one of the main attractions with a co-ed common area that features a hammam, steam room and sauna that friends and couples can experience together before heading off to their treatments. One small note, the property is officially childfree so that may be a blessing or a curse to some. That being said, they welcome your fur babies with open arms so feel free to bring your pet along. Crispy, the in-house concierge, is a legend and honestly does her best to keep her guests happy and make all of their vacation dreams come true. There’s a reason this place keeps visitors coming back year after year.

The Surf Club at The Four Seasons
9011 Collins Ave., Surfside

Only recently opened, this property in Sunny Isles really lets you get away from it all.  A master class in design and elegance from the rooms, to the pool, to the bar you’ll feel like you’re stepping back into the old days of Miami glamour while also experiencing the best of what the modern era has to offer. The hotel is north from all the hustle and bustle of South Beach but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The beaches are less crowded and there’s a great boardwalk for walking, running, or just taking in the sights. The restaurants offer the pinnacle of fine dining with the newly opened The Surf Club by the one and only Thomas Keller. If you’re looking for the best Miami has to offer and a truly luxurious vacation look no further.
