Youth truly is wasted on the young. What wouldn’t we give to go back to school? To take classes we’re actually interested in (Art History & Sex Ed yes, Calculus, no) and be inspired. Well, you can. And you should. The happiest, healthiest, most confident people in the world are those who get involved, continue to learn and stay fully engaged in life. Old dogs really can learn new tricks, so keep your mind sharp by choosing a class, hobby, or event to get involved in this Fall. We’ve gathered 7 totally doable options — most are online and available on YOUR schedule — so there’s no excuses, people! Now get your ass back to class.

FINALLY LEARN A NEW LANGUAGE
There are tons of online language-learning apps, but we think the best — and most fun — is Duolingo. The app uses quick, upbeat online games to make learning a new tongue enjoyable as well as addictive. Each time you complete a lesson you earn points for correct answers, race against the clock and move up a level in the game. Their science-based technique really works (34 hours of Duolingo is equal to one university semester of language courses) AND it’s free. C’est incroyable!
