I know, I know. There are approximately 1,000,000 meal delivery services out there. Prepared meals, prepared ingredients, celeb Chef-endorsed — there are so many to choose from. But let me introduce you to my new favorite: Epicured. Started by a Renee Cherkezian and her close friend, Richard Bennett. As a nurse, Renee saw patient after patient with digestive issues and, as a passionate food lover herself, she was intrigued by the power of combining delicious, honest, and exciting cooking with thoughtful, compassionate, and evidence-based medicine. She spent a year following this dream, cultivating her culinary skills in Paris and inventing healthy, dynamic recipes that anyone could enjoy. The result is Epicured, a medically-recommended meal delivery service that serves the New York City area. They deliver fresh, nutrient-rich, delicious meals twice to three times per week depending on your plan. They are all low FODMAP and gluten-free and they are pretty damn good. So far I've tried the Chicken Teriyaki Danbury, the Zucchini "Spaghetti" Bolognese and the Summer Vegetable Lasagna and while they were created for "patients" I have to say that they are really good for everyone looking for quick, easy, delicious and super-healthy meal options. Enjoy! Oh, and #notsponsored. I swear.
