Sunblock. Ugh. It's a necessary evil, I know (especially since not only has age created a need for reading glasses, but has given me sun-induced brown spots ALL OVER MY FACE), but it's so hard to find something I can wear on my face in the heat and humidity that doesn't make me feel like I'm suffocating. The light ones are seemingly ineffective and the heavy ones are hideously unmanageable. So on a recent trip to Cartagena (more on that later), where the low was 95 and the humidity was at 200% daily, I put some face sunscreens to the test, and the good news is that everything I'm recommending not only works like magic, they all feel amazing on your skin and some even make your skin look even better than it actually is. Happy sunning!
