TSS | 7 THINGS YOU NEED FOR A WELL-DRESSED HOME

Do you ever feel like you need to get your act together and make your house looks like a grown up lives in it? Who doesn't? Elle Cole, of Elle Cole Interiors, probably doesn't, actually, which is why we asked her to share her 7 Must-Haves for a Well-Dressed Home. So do what she says before all of your relatives descend on you for the holidays.

1. Jack Chair by Bunny Williams
Bunny usually names her furnishings after people, dogs, etc. I once read that she likes Jack Daniels if she’s listening to George Strait, so I’m assuming this chair is named after that liquor – which is appropriate considering the style of the chair is classic, laid back and all-around comfortable. What’s lovely about this seating is that is suitable for both formal and casual settings. It can also be used as a beautiful desk chair, or with multiple around a conference table. The tufted button back is subtle enough to add a gracious nod to tradition without being stuffy.

2.  Big Blooms by Paul Lange
In one word: STUNNING! If you want to make a statement in your space, invest in one piece of great art. I promise it will be worth it. This work brings in color, texture and depth – all elements of what a space needs. I personally love Fabienne, but they are all spectacular.

3. Gracie Handpainted Chinese Scenic Wallpapers
I absolutely love this hand-painted wallpaper from Gracie Studio. We used this pattern (SY 275) in one of our bathroom designs (image below), which was recently published in Traditional Home. This pattern is wonderful regardless of where you select to use it in your home. Overall the wallpaper pattern is beautifully arranged and intriguing to the eye without being overwhelming.

4. Chambers Large Table Lamp by Christopher Spitzmiller
This aqua crackled gourd lamp from Christopher Spitzmiller is one of my favorites. With light, the color becomes more vibrant and beautiful – but it looks just as pretty during the day when the lamp is turned off.

5.  Lambswool Throws in Plaid Patterns
Nothing says winter like sitting by the fire wrapped in a cozy throw. These, from Williams Sonoma, are perfect for the right amount of warmth. PS: They’re currently 20% off (code: HOLIDAY), which makes them the perfect gift. One for you, one for them ...

6.  Leopard Wool Rug by Dash & Albert
Animal patterns are always a good idea! How could you not love a rug that is both chic and durable? This one is perfect for high traffic areas where you’ll need a great material to hold up to kids and fur babies. I love everything about this rug and will definitely be buying one for my own home.

7. Classic Picture Frames by William Yeoward
These pretty glass and silver frames are perfect for showcasing those special memories. I love frames, especially in varying sizes, textures and styles. They make for a beautiful layer in homes, and celebrate meaningful moments and memories every day. Great frames are an important investment, particularly when using them in areas that are most visible within your home.
