One of our favorite things about our Select Set series is the chance to give insider access to pretty much any topic under the sun. Want some ayurvedic tips to get your body summer ready? Done. What about how to upgrade your bar cart? Sure. This week, we’re excited that Joline Rivera, the Founder and Creative Director of Kitchen Toke, the first publication dedicated to promoting health and wellness through culinary cannabis, is taking our cooking up a notch with her unique expertise. Fair warning: Your kitchen and your cooking may never be the same.

1. Bodum French Press
I start every day with CBD coffee that I make in my favorite Bodum French press. And guess what? You can also it to create incredible cannabis-infused butter (or "cannabutter"). You can check out how to put your own French press to work for cannabutter here.

2. Plant People CBD-Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil
I’m a creative, not a cook, so when I discovered a product that made cooking with cannabis a little quicker, I was all about it. This Plant People olive oil is made by people who really know what they’re doing and is not only delicious but its sustainably grown. I don’t just talk about it: I use it — on everything.

3. Ninja Professional Blender
I put my Ninja Kitchen blender to work every morning to make a spinach CBD smoothie, which I prepare with a handful of greens, a scoop of protein powder and some CBD olive oil or CBD tincture. It only takes five minutes, it’s delicious and it’s incredibly easy thanks to this blender.

4. Lumen Hemp Elixir
Hemp is an ancient superfood that’s been used for thousands of years to balance and revitalize the body and mind. Lumen’s Hemp Elixir is straight from the plant and it’s filled with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. I’m an especially big fan of taking a shot of it before going on a run.

5. KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer
I love to bake, especially on the weekends. My go-to recipe is Sea Salt Peanut Butter cookies with CBD-infused maple syrup using this KitchenAid mixer that I received from my friend and food editor, Laura Yee .

6. Calivolve CBD Chocolate Truffles
Looking to add CBD brownies to your baking repertoire? Make sure to stock your pantry with Calivolve’s chocolate truffles which create the most delicious and gooey treat that features 10 mg of CBD per brownie. I’m also a big fan of this indulgent brownie recipe with sea salt, caramels and cannabutter. Trust me when I say it doesn’t get better than this!

7. CBD Dog Treats
My dog Jake is a nervous dog, so CBD works well for him. He loves these homemade CBD dog treats. Anyone who knows Jake knows he’s a handful, but I can’t imagine my life without him!
