When it comes to beauty, there's no greater resource than Margaret Zakarian. And when it comes to spa treatments, there's no one greater than Geoffrey to point you in the right direction.
I used to be a totally no fuss kind of girl but lately I have taken a deep plunge into the world of products. Make up artist Reiva Cruze has turned me on to the best skin care regime: Step 1 is Clarins Liquid Cleanser, followed by PurErb Bulgarian Rose Toner and then finishing with Le Mieux Bio Cell Rejuvenating Cream, which I am convinced is some sort of magic potion. I have also just ordered up 100% hand crafted natural products from Wild Skin Cares and can't wait for them to arrive.
This summer, I am loving Chanel Rose Petal blush because it smells just as good as it looks. We have been spending a lot of time in LA with the opening of our newest restaurant, Georgie, at the Montage Beverly Hills and it is the perfect no fuss blush for daytime on the west coast. For hair, I can't go without Phyto 7. It's vitamins for your hair. I use it 2 time per week before I blow dry and it keeps my hair healthy and strong and in the summer when I am in and out of the ocean or pool, I up it to 3 times.
My favorite beauty treatments are a manicure/ pedicure at TenOverTen and a massage at Shibui Spa (see below). Both are dedicated to a first-rate authentic experience where ambience is just as important as the treatment itself, and the products used are safe and healthy. For a full on reboot, I recommend to Canyon Ranch in the Berkshires (also below), where you can eat healthy, get a routine going for exercise and learn about what's at the forefront of Longevity research. Don't miss the lectures with Dr Liponis.

When you have a few days to spare (or even when you don't), make time ito head to Canyon Ranch in the Berkshires. There's no place like it and if you take advantage of the medical and specialized analysis treatments they offer, you will find out more about your physiology in 3 days than you have in your entire lifetime. We always leave wishing we were staying at least one more day.
